Frequently Asked Questions

How reliable are the analysis results?

ingra uses Google Gemini AI to analyze ingredients. Results are provided for informational purposes only and do not replace medical advice. Always consult a healthcare professional for critical decisions regarding allergies or health conditions.

I've used up my free scans. What can I do?

Your free scan quota resets each month. You can watch a short ad for an extra scan or subscribe to ingra Pro for unlimited scanning.

How do I cancel my Pro subscription?

Go to iPhone Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions > ingra Pro > Cancel Subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

How can I delete my data?

Use the Profile > Settings > Delete All Data button within the app to permanently delete all your scan history, comparisons, and profile information.

Where are my photos stored?

All photos are stored only on your device. Images sent to Google Gemini API for analysis are not retained after processing.

The camera won't focus or takes blurry photos?

Move the camera closer to the label and wait for the device to focus. You can take a photo when the green frame appears with "Text detected" message. In dark environments, tap the flash icon to turn on the flashlight.
